April 3rd, 2024 Zero-Beaters April meeting, Schoolhouse. Meeting called to order at 7pm. Pledge of allegiance was recited and a moment of silence was observed in memory of our silent keys. Minutes from the March meeting were not available. Treasurers report was read, we have a balance of $8,811.17, witch include a deposit of $238. payments of $143.42 in utilities, $650 to K of C for hamfest venue, $200 for P. O. Box, $599 for liability insurance and $52.69 for electric bill. Receipts were presented by Greg for two Laptops, Coax, Crimper, Strippers and the repair of the Icom 756 Pro 2 totaling $1,269.67 Our club equipment insurance is being canceled on June 2nd and we are looking into a replacement policy Repeaters, The 147.240 machine was acting up during the solar storm but seems to be working fine now. Grounds, Greg has had a much better interaction with our neighbors at Spanish echo farms. The drive will get some new gravel applied soon. Schoolhouse, We will have a gathering here for the Missouri QSO party next week. Tom explained how the Missouri QSO party works and the Sullivan amateur radio club will loan us their H.F. Bandpass filters for the event. Greg demonstrated how the new cable prep tools work. There was talk about the spring rendezvous taking place possibly in June. ARRL Field Day will be at the schoolhouse again this year, the last full weekend in June, the 22nd and 23rd. There will be a POTA event at Robertsville state park on May 11th. Jim Rhodes announced that he has taken a new job in Indiana and will be moving possibly mid April. The 50/50 was won by Paul and all proceeds were graciously donated back to the club Meeting adjourned at 7:42 pm
